There simply aren't enough words to explain how this game has impacted my life.  For a long as I can remember I have played Basketball. It's who I am.  Without it I would be one BIG STRESS CASE!

I still remember the days of waking up and rollin' out to the park (that's when the knees were still good) or the gym to play ball.  Stop and grab lunch... Mess around for a few hours and head back to the park to play more ball... Then playing in leagues and tournaments every single weekend.  It was like basketball was all we did!  Aaahhh, those were the days!

I'm 34 yrs. old now.  Some would say,"DAMN!  He's ol' skool..." I guess I am.  A beautiful wife, 3 kids (two girls and a boy) and it just seems like life ZOOMED by so quickly!

NOTE TO THE YOUNG BUCKS OUT THERE:  Enjoy this time.  Play and stop talking all that sh%$ on the court.  Just let your GAME do the talking.  All us Ol' Skool ballers know talent when we see it.  But a BIG MOUTH ain't got nothing to do with this game!  Basketball is a TEAM sport.  That means all 5 guys working together to achieve one goal.  Each has a role and each knows what they need to do.  Oh and play with your BOYZ and stick together... The friendships you build during these years will last a lifetime. 

That's all I got to write for now... I hope this community starts to grow again.. I am looking forward to more posts for my blog in the future...

I better go... I already miss my kids!  Dang... I've grown up!!!
